ADS Acquires 'Friendly Competitor' in Savannah (Ga.) ADS Security (ADS) of Nashville, Tenn., has added 1,000 accounts to its customer base following the acquisition of Savannah, Ga.-based Security Services Inc. Terms of the deal were not released. Established in 2001 by Billy Rauers, Security Services provides intrusion and f re alarms, video surveillance, intercommunication systems and telephone entry systems. "Billy Rauers has been a friendly and well respected competitor of ours for a long time in the Savannah market and we are fortunate to now be working side by side with him," ADS Vice President and Controller Patrick Ritter tells SSI. "He has a good, seasoned customer base with low attrition. He's a great business owner that really knows the local Savannah market." World Wide Security Makes Deal for CCTV Specialist World Wide Security of Garden City, N.Y., has acquired full-service electronic security systems integrator CCTV Security for an undisclosed amount. Te deal will bring World Wide's annual revenues to more than $10 million. CCTV Security of Long Island City specializes in security solutions for 36 ofces, hotels and high-rise apartment buildings. "Teir client base is comprised of blue-chip corporations that will now be able to purchase additional security services that were not available through CCTV Security such as intrusion detection, f re and smoke alarm systems and monitoring," World Wide Security President and CEO Kenneth Mara says. Security Partners Buys TexasBased Monitoring Center Lancaster, Pa.-based Security Partners has acquired a second hot-redundant central station operated by Response Center USA of San Antonio. Te UL-Listed facility provides bilingual monitoring services to residential and commercial customers in Texas and the surrounding area. "We spent countless hours searching for a redundant central station," says Mike Bodnar, president of Security Partners. "Te more we learned about the team at Response Center USA, the more we knew they were a perfect alignment of our values and service oferings." Hackett Security Gains Commercial Accounts in Latest Transaction Hackett Security, a leading security systems provider in the St. Louis area, has acquired Avery Security of Wentzville, Mo. Avery has provided security services for both residential and commercial customers in the St. Charles, Troy and Wentzville areas since 1999. "Te Avery purchase represents our 18th acquisition in recent years," says Michael J. Hackett, CEO and president of Hackett Security. "Like other companies we have acquired they have a strong client base and a solid 14-year history. We were especially attracted to them based on their work with commercial accounts in the St. Charles area as well as residential accounts." / SECURITYSALES.COM / SEPTEMBER 2013 PEOPLE JORDAN CORNWALL COPS Monitoring has expanded support of its ULListed central station in Lewisville, Texas, with the addition of account executives Julie Jordan and T.J. Cornwall. Jordan will manage East Texas and Louisiana, and Cornwall will manage West Texas, Oklahoma, Nebraska and Kansas. Jordan joins COPS with an education in business communications and 15 years in sales, with the past seven years working at Dallas-area alarm companies. After graduating from Penn State University in 2009, Cornwall moved to Australia to work as a key accounts manager under the tutelage of Justin Viles, co-founder of Google Australia. The Protection Bureau welcomes back Wanda Valenteen to the company as she assumes her former role as central VALENTEEN station manager. Valenteen previously served in the position from 2006 to 2011. She is well regarded for her experience in call center management and team monitoring asset protection systems. Guardian Protection Services appoints Joseph Lininger to the newly-created position of senior vice president of LININGER marketing. Lininger brings more than 20 years of professional experience to Guardian, specializing in national marketing campaign strategy and leadership, digital marketing, graphic design, Web development and social media strategy.
